A COMPANY WITH CHARACTER

Precision was the business.
Red was the driving force.

Established near Canterbury in 2005, Stringer Precision Engineering Ltd brought a personal approach to specialist machining, prototype development and small-batch manufacture.

Red preferred a difficult drawing to an easy promise. His workshop grew around the belief that good engineering depends as much on patience, clear thinking and pride in the job as it does on the machinery.

Sixteen years later, the pandemic brought the company’s working life to a close. What remains is a story of engineering, adventure and a founder who rarely did anything by halves.
